Since 2002, Wen has worked as a full-time senior psychological consultant and director of ZMICP. She created and has given a series of courses in ZMICP. Based on the course "Counseling HotLine Tutoring" she has taught, the Zhi Mian hotline has provided invaluable support for 21 years, handling over 100,000 phone calls during its service.

In 2008, Wen went to Fuller School of Psychology in the United States as a visiting scholar and obtained the certificate of "Family Wellness Instructor ". In 2005, she went to the Adult Social Work Institute in Denmark for her further study.

She served as a part-time consultant at the Mental Health and Education Research Center of Nanjing University.
Wen also worked as a full-time consultant at Xiamen Care Corner Counseling Center (aided by Singapore Care Corner Counseling Institution).
